What Happened to the Heart? is the fifth studio album by Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora, released on 7 June 2024 through Decca, Glassnote and Petroleum Records. Inspired by a letter co-written by indigenous activists, the album was conceived as a cathartic process and recorded across Norway, Germany, the UK, and the US. Blending indie pop and disco with elements of techno and folk, it debuted in the top five in Norway and top ten in four other countries, earning two nominations at the 2025 Spellemannprisen including Release of the Year.
