CLAIRO
Clairo is an American singer-songwriter who began posting music online at age 13 and rose to prominence in 2017 when her lo-fi bedroom pop single “Pretty Girl” went viral on YouTube. Her intimate, understated style quickly found a devoted following and helped define the bedroom pop genre for a new generation.
Her debut EP Diary 001 (2018) on Fader Label confirmed she was far more than a one-hit wonder, while her debut studio album Immunity (2019) — featuring the singles “Bags” and “Sofia” — landed on best-of-year lists from Pitchfork, Billboard and the Los Angeles Times. Sling (2021), co-produced with Jack Antonoff, marked a significant artistic leap with its introspective songwriting about domesticity and care, debuting in the top 20 of the Billboard 200. Her third album Charm (2024), co-produced with Leon Michels and self-released, received critical acclaim for its jazz-influenced production and earned Clairo her first Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album.
