Following a severe vocal crisis caused by Lyme disease and dysphonia, Twain underwent intensive rehabilitation before returning to music. Produced alongside Ron Aniello, Jake Gosling, Jacquire King and Matthew Koma, Now is her most personal album to date and the first she co-produced entirely on her own.
