SOUR (2021)

SOUR is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo, released on May 21, 2021, via Geffen Records. Written entirely by Rodrigo and producer Dan Nigro, the album blends alternative pop, bedroom pop, pop-punk, and folk-pop — spanning from angsty guitar-driven rockers to melancholic acoustic ballads. Its subject matter centers on adolescence, failed romance, heartache, anger, and jealousy. Originally planned as an EP, it was expanded into a full album following the viral success of "Drivers License".
