CAMILA CABELLO
Camila Cabello first made her mark as a member of Fifth Harmony, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, before stepping out on her own and proving she was built for a solo career. Her breakthrough came with Havana — a global number-one that spent seven weeks atop the US Mainstream Top 40 and became Spotify’s most-streamed song ever by a solo female artist at the time, with over 888 million streams. It made her the first artist to top both the Mainstream Top 40 and Adult Top 40 with the first two singles from a debut album.
Her debut album Camila (2018) opened at number one on the Billboard 200, and she followed it with the Never Be the Same Tour — her first headlining run as a solo artist. Señorita (2019), her duet with Shawn Mendes, became her second Hot 100 number-one and the third best-selling song of 2019 globally according to the IFPI, reaching number one in over 30 countries. Her second album Romance (2019) debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 and topped the charts in Canada.
In 2021 she starred in the title role of Cinderella on Amazon Prime Video — the most-watched streaming movie over Labour Day weekend that year. Familia (2022), her most critically acclaimed album yet, debuted in the top ten on the Billboard 200 and earned four-star reviews from NME, The Guardian and Rolling Stone for its vibrant Latin roots and raw, honest songwriting. Its lead single Bam Bam with Ed Sheeran peaked at number five on the Billboard Global 200. With C,XOXO (2024) she took a sharp creative turn into hyperpop territory, collaborating with Playboi Carti, Lil Nas X and Drake, and performing at the MTV Video Music Awards. Her accolades include two Latin Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards.
