Ashe is known for her distinctive blend of heartfelt songwriting, infectious melodies and a sound that combines California-inspired pop with elements of rock. Originally pursuing gymnastics, an injury led her to focus on music from a young age. She later studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston before launching her career with the single “Used To It” in 2017, followed by The Rabbit Hole EP in 2018.
Her breakthrough came with the 2019 EP Moral of the Story: Chapter 1, produced by FINNEAS. The title track gained worldwide attention after being featured in the Netflix film To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, eventually earning Platinum certification in the US and Silver certification in the UK.
Ashe’s debut studio album, Ashlyn, was released in 2021 to widespread critical acclaim and has since accumulated nearly two billion streams. She has also performed on major television programs including TODAY, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, American Idol, The Late Late Show with James Corden and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Her second studio album, Rae, continued her artistic journey and was produced by Leroy Clampitt, mixed by Manny Marroquin and mastered by Michelle Mancini.
